I just finished my bachelor's degree in business from a large state school in Texas and plan on applying for MHA programs.
I have hospital experience, decent public health work experience, have accepted a job doing business development for a public health agency, and have a decent GRE (>85% for every category), but my sub-2.5 GPA is stopping me from applying to MHA (a result of taking extensive amounts of science and math classes).
Would it be better to retake some of my undergrad classes to boost my GPA (though that may be hard, I have 140+ hours), or apply to graduate health management certificates to prove my ability to handle graduate classes?

One option is to apply and see what happens. If you get rejected, then you know something needs to be improved on your application. For many programs, work experience and expertise can help a low GPA.
