I am looking for advice on whether to retake 2 semesters of general biology or simply refresh on it through self study prior to MCAT

I received a 5 on the AP bio exam, and it shows on a college transcript as 2 classes/8 credits.

However this score is from the 90s. I don't think it is possible for me to have the score sent anywhere at this point, though it will continue to show the courses granted on college transcripts.

I also have a couple semesters of full withdrawals from every class from the 90s.(mono) Would I need to explain that at all being so long ago?

So far more recently, I have taken anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and general chem 1. Between my bachelors that didn't cover the pre-reqs and what I've taken lately my cGPA is 3.95 and sGPA 4.0
Just refresh. You have taken enough biology and done well enough. Don’t waste time doing that.

I agree, unless you need it for your own benefit to refresh for MCAT I think you have bigger fish to fry
