I feel bad about retaking my MCAT

I want to hear about some retaken MCAT success stories,
let me know... make me feel better

someone at my school had 27 the first time and got 40 on the second.
He basically spent his whole summer studying.
and yes, he was accepted to a med school.
 
27 on an august sitting.
34 the next april.
The first time i studied material, but didn't really dedicate a lot of time because i was working full time.

The second time i spent a good 2-3 months studying a couple hours a night, doing full length practice tests, listening to audio osmosis ... i was working and in school but i took classes that weren't going to kill me and i worked as a physics tutor so that helped me "study" too.

taking it again is a good idea!

august to april is probably best because you maximize your studying. you have like another 7-8 months. but i guess that doesn't really apply anymore now that the computerized mcat is offered more frequently.
