I am a senior at UCLA and got C+'in genetics and organic chemistry 3. I am going to be applying to both MD and DO schools. Is it worth it to retake these courses the summer I graduate at a CC?

Not really. If you are at all in the range of MD schools, you are golden for DO schools GPA wise, so grade replacement is not necessary. Barring grade replacement, it is better to take an upper level science and ace it on the first try than it is to get an A on a retake. Again barring grade replacement, retaking a course you got a C+ in at UCLA for an A at a CC is not going to impress anyone, so will not help you nearly as much as taking a new course and acing that would.

wouldnt sweat it.. got in with a C+, C and a C- on my transcript to more than one MD school

For DO schools though it was raise my GPA

I have two C+ grades. I guess if you don't get accepted your first time around you could retake them and improve yourself.
