Before I switched to Pre-Med I was an Industrial Engineering Major. I did poorly on some of these classes and the higher Calculus classes because I didn't have the motivation (didn't enjoy the major).

Should I go and retake these math classes/engineering classes to boost my GPA? Like, Engineering 3 I got a C and Calculus 3 I got another C also.
Would retaking these classes, although they are not needed for the major, be of any benefit or would they just Omit this when they saw them on the transcript?

For DO applications, you could use grade replacement to move your GPA up rapidly by retaking these classes. For MD applications, anything you take will just be averaged in, so it's more to your advantage to take upper division biology classes and ace them than to redo old non-relevant courses.

HTH!

If you retake, make sure those retakes are As otherwise they won't do much for your uGPA. Since you said that you didn't enjoy the major, there won't be much motivation for you to do extremely well in those courses. Since you have a grade of C in those courses, offset the C with another course of equal hours in a subject that you enjoy and get an A.
