I am thinking about applying to pharmacy school by August. Should i take my PCAT in January or July? Currently, I am registered for January's PCAT. But, i have been extremely busy with school so I did not put much studying for PCAT. On my first attempt i scored <30. I have about a month to study for it, if i take it in Jan. Do you think i can make it to 70s or 80 percentile by studying one month? Or should i just wait till July? What is deadline for early decision applicant?

Also, I will be graduating in the fall of 2012 with bachelors in biology. I was just wondering if i submit my application in august, how do i add my grade for the classes that i would take in the fall (after august)? (I am assuming once you submit the application, you are cannot edit or make any changes)

Early decision deadline is usually around end of August. A month of studying is possible to improve your score to 70 and 80, but ultimately it depends on how motivated you are.

I would suggest starting your pharmcas application when it becomes avaliable. (pharmcas.org)

There is an academic upgrade option around December, where you update all your grade for fall quarter or any plan courses for next year (you can only do this once, so plan ahead carefully).

I would agree with kcwang that it's POSSIBLE, but you have plenty of time to schedule another date and have more time to study...If it were me, I'd want at least two months so you can take some days off of studying whenever you want and still get a good amount of time in. Good luck!

If you are one of those ppl who dont feel the pressure to study until a month before the test, I would suggest to take it in Jan.
