Retouched Headshots?

I recently got professional headshots taken and the photographer sent me original and retouched photos.

Is it weird to use retouched photos? I am afraid it will come off a bit overdone. The main edits are just blurring undereye darkness and overall lightening.

Depends on the print size, resolution, and amount of lazy airbrushing they did!

Also keep in mind that eventually we do get to see you in person. Any changes that are made cannot be noticeable.
