Worth it to do these? I'm not sure if I have time because I have a Lott of qbank questions to do.

I've decided to do web path and 1-7 or Robbins review, are the other chapters 8-31 worth it? Is it low yield to do things like cardio/respiratory from this book? I've found the explanations to be great in the first handful of chapters, so just wanted feedback on the rest.

Thx in advance.

In terms of USMLE prep, the first several chapters (as you've done) are the most important. The latter chapters are helpful adjuncts during MS2, but are not required, and to that effect, I wouldn't particularly recommend them for USMLE prep. The question-style seems to be slightly deviant and the pathological mechanisms assessed are rather specific - great for external knowledge, but the first several chapters alone are better use of time.

@Phloston,

I've been doing the robbins Qbook and webpath along with each pathology block at my school. Would you recommend trading out robbins qbook for kaplan or usmlerx?

The explanations of the questions are really helpful to make the information stick in your head, but I am finding the questions themselves rather easy. There is little to no multi-step thinking. Most of the time the diagnosis is laid for you and you just have to know a defining feature, despite that big question stem. It's still useful, but I don't think it's worth the time or as important as Goljan, Webpath or even Kaplan.

USMLE Rx > Kaplan QBank > first several chapers of Robbin's QBook

I'm glad you've pointed this out. There are many questions in the first several chapters that are very easy, however, out of the fewer hard questions, they tend to be extremely high-yield.

The first several chapters include info on extracellular adhesion molecules, growth factors, environmental elements and cancer gene regulation / expression that is very high-yield. There were times that I had encountered this stuff in QBanks later on that I would not have gotten right had it not been for Robbin's. Even on my actual exam I felt these chapters helped.
