I'm looking to do an away elective rotation in charlotte, NC but I don't know anyone in the area so I was hoping that someone knew if there were any sites that offered housing in the Charlotte area. Thanks

Try contacting the school/dept you're doing the away through. That's how I found short term housing for one of my aways. I talked to either the program coordinator or the registrar who was setting up my away that they hooked me up. The University had a page for people that were willing to rent short-term to visiting students. I actually wound up staying with a Fellow in the dept I rotated through... got a lot better info on the dept.
