I am in ROTC and I hope to go D.O
(3.7overall 3.4 Sci, NO mcat)

Assuming I get into a D.O school is ed delay guaranteed?
is HSPS easier to get from ROTC?

If ed delay is not guaranteed or I do not get in my first year is it possible to go reserves and try again the following year?

thank you all!

Just won the 4 year AROTC scholarship (which I intend to accept), and was wondering the same thing.

From what I've gathered, Ed delays are certainly NOT guaranteed. I read somewhere that in this year's branching, only 71 Ed delays were given across the country (makes for a lot of angry chemical and quartermaster 2LTs). So go into ROTC knowing full well that you may not receive an Ed delay and may have to commission into a branch you don't necessarily want.
