Which campus?

i like it...i go there and most of the profs are pretty good....nice atmosphere too

only go if you got into rutgers college.

Expect no support or compassion from Rutgers, you will be just a number in the ocean of students and I mean a 42000-student ocean. The TAs rarely speak English and the professors have way too many students to know or care usually. Having said that, there is no grade inflation and you will learn if you want to get good grades, so you have the potential to get a good education. However, if I could go back in time I would go practically anywhere but there. That's my opinion

when you go to rutgers, you will hear the same its called the :

RU Screwed!!!!

Don't buy into that. I go to Rutgers Newark, and it's a pretty descent school. It's a lot smaller than Rutgers College, and if you are in the honors program you receive a lot of opportunities for research and other things. It's very close to umdnj, and it’s not too hard to get a research position there as well. The premed office at RU Newark is okay, but it’s more what you make out of it than anything else. I was accepted to Rutgers College, Cook College, and Newark College and chose the latter, and I think I made a good decision. Overall, for the price you pay you really can't beat it.

I'm in my third year at Rutgers-NB(Rutgers College) and I have enjoyed my time here. I've done well as a biology major and haven't been too stressed out. The pre-med office at Rutgers is very helpful if you make an effort to utilize it. Ever since my first semester here, I've kept in touch with the office and prepared myself as much as possible for the application process to medical school.

P.S. I'm definitely applying to both UMDNJ medical schools but am not sure what other schools in the tri-state area I should apply to. Any suggestions?(Around the same level or better than the UMDNJ's)
