Applied ED this past cycle and ended up getting deferred. Still have not heard back from them with a final decision which is quite unfortunate. I believe you should definitely reach out for a consultation but mine was not very fruitful. I was told to get a slightly higher mcat score which my retake reflected. Also, felt that the interview went really well and got strong compliments from my interviewer. Honestly, could not say I'd recommend applying via the ED track. I know many people have been successful so their opinions may be more helpful but I feel committing to the school does not give you an advantage in their eyes. Also, anecdotally I have seen that only gap year applicants have been successful applying via ED but again, not fully sure.
