Thank you for the feedback. Yes, the sample size is still very small. We are now at 19 data points for rad onc. This will get more accurate with more data contributions.

Personally I don’t feel like this data is helpful. It can and will be used against us. If you believe the data on consolidation, overtraining, SOAP and NRMP outcomes, etc. the corollary is the average rad onc holds a mediocre job working for a large academic system, a church, or private equity, with a low ceiling, no growth potential, and no incentive to grow the practice. I personally don’t want to know the average numbers in rad onc beyond mgma and my personal network.

Sad but true. We are overtraining and have been for well over a decade now, folks like Dennis Hallahan were at least honest about it at that time. Now it's just easier for chairs and PDs to ignore and continue to be a part of the problem (a few good programs here and there, but mostly not).

Oh sure not wanting it public here I can understand though may not agree that it’s actually going to harm anyone. More was referring to Yesmaster not wanting to know at all.

Please put in the private forum. Any admin that sees this will use to negotiate down anyone above these numbers. Knowledge is power but no reason to give this info to our enemies. Too strong? I think not
