Hi all!!

I recently got an offer into RVU MSBS Class of 2027, and don't see a thread for this yet. I hope to connect with other accepted students and let other applicants ask questions!

Hey! I would say my GPA and extracurricular activities are extremely competitive for a medical school applicant (8k clinical hours scribing/research, 6 publications, numerous leadership roles, etc.), although my weaknesses include multiple attempts and extremely low MCAT scores. RVU gives me an opportunity to prove to ADCOM that I can handle the rigor of medical school, so I am super excited 🙂
Advice-wise, I would say be true to yourself, and RVU has a great admission team, so shoot them an email and ask questions! Best of luck!

just got accepted today! Is there a group chat around?

For reference to anyone considering applying:
3.7 cgpa, 3.5 sgpa, 4.0 post bac, 2 x MCAT below 490, and a major red flag on my app lol. Had a lot of hours for work and volunteering and just stayed true to myself. Super super excited for the opportunity 🙂

Got accepted on Friday as well. I was wondering if there’s a group chat for accepted students. I’d love to connect and eventually talk about housing and potential female roommates when the time comes in July/August. 🙂

I applied late and got accepted recently.

For reference to anyone considering applying:
  • I submitted on 07/15/2026 and was verified on the 17th (the official PostBacCas deadline is 07/23/2026).
  • Graduated from a U.S. News & World Report top-15 undergrad, 3.3 CGPA, 3.1 SGPA, 3.9 post-bac, No MCAT, 339 GRE, non-trad

hi, is the group me still active. I have a few questions to ask as well. i am strongly considering it for Fall 2027 entry.
 
Hi all! I just wanted to jump in here real quick with a question - I just applied to the program for next year (2027-2028) but there isn’t a thread for it yet. I’m wondering how soon they review applications/ send out decisions? Did y’all hear of anyone who applied in August of last year? Just looking for a little insight, Thanks!
