Hey guys,

I am applying to jobs right now and would like to ask if you guys have some insight regarding general comp. I will be reviewing my contract with a lawyer but will want to see what you guys though.

I am applying to pulmonary only jobs, mostly outpatient with 1:4 week of inpatient week. No ICU no nights, no weekends outside of inpatient consults week.

I am regionally locked to centra/south Florida due to famaily

I have an offer for mid 300s, no rVU model, no expectation for procedures other than regular bronchs with BAL. clinic is 8-4 20 mins visit one hour lunch. Big hospital system. 4 weeks PTO, 2 weeks CME with allowance, good benefits. APP support while inpatient. 30 mins from major metro city.

I was thinking asking for the higher end of 300s k or do you guys think this is a decent offer

Thanks

Bad on all fronts (40 clinic hours at 3 pph is 120 patients per week which is super busy with no productivity bonus, MGMA 10% salary, inpatient required too with a weekend, midlevel oversight with no comp) would see if you can find another offer from somewhere else--this entire offer would need an overhaul and it would be a lot of hassle and easier to find a place that is more serious about hiring.
