I accepted a spot for pharmacy school back in December (I paid my deposit and keep in touch via e-mail to make sure there wasn't any problems). However, I have been accepted to another school that I favor more. What would be the most favorable and respectable e-mail I could send to the other school, informing them that I will no longer be attending their pharmacy program?

It does not really matter what you say as long as you inform them as soon as possible because they have other students who are waiting for that spot and the faster you inform them the faster then can process to refill seats. Just let them know you are thankful for the opportunity and would like to respectfully deny your seat.

Just be polite and tell them that your plans have changed and you are no longer interested in their pharmacy program. They will understand and give your spot to someone else.

Whatever and however you end up writing your email, be professional about it and inform them asap because there are students listed on the wait-list, waiting for some spots to open up. Some of them may have that particular school as their number one choice compared to you, who does not.
