is 0.5mm good enough? Is there a significant difference going upto 1.0mm?

Stand up straight and raise the table really high. Sitting with lead increases the pressure within the disks, whereas standing distributes weight across the pelvis. Humans weren't made to sit; we were made to run and move and hunt and travel.

good point. Besides being the smartest “animal”, humans can cover the longest distances without reaching exhaustion. Every healthy person can literally “walk all day”.

Best example of moving all day is watching Africans run kudu to death. Ever seen that? We have sweat glands and cool ourselves off efficiently, yet animals who we all consider fast and mobile (dogs let's say) cool off from panting...but you can't sprint while panting, and panting while running steady state only lasts a short time.

We used to beat up kids when I was growing up who played basketball, as we considered it to be a girl's game (still is). One of my childhood pals used to be on the receiving end of that periodically; he went on to be a pretty good D1 collegiate player and played in the NBA as well. However, given the fact he was a basketball player, we all considered him to be a fairy.

My wife played basketball in highschool and college, but she is a girl, so it was okay.
Bet you can throw a football over them mountains too huh?
