So...my SSN, tax info, and other sensitive info has been obtained by a scammer. (Will not go into detail for obvious reasons)

So, I bought the identity theft protection, contacted my bank, filed a complaint with the FTC, contacted the SSN department as well as FAFSA and the IRS.

Should I let AAMC and AACOMAS know just to be safe?

Unfortunately, due to Equifax's gross negligence - just about everyone on this forum is pretty much in the same boat :annoyed:

Equifax is one of the three main credit bureaus and was hacked this exposing some 200 million SSN, DOB, names, etc
Oh so not specific to this forum.
