scared about acid/base

I'm generally confident about GChem other than acid/base chemistry. I don't know why I have trouble with this, but I found the whole concept pretty confusing. My question is, is acid/base chemistry a common topic on the real MCAT PS? I'm wishing for more physics because I am better in physics in GChem in general. Thanks.

yeah acid base is super super important. very fundamental and I've seen usually 1 passage per practice test if not more. this is a subject that's very easy to improve in though, if you study, since there is a ton of practice material on it. honestly, if you wanted to, you could just go online and search for questions about it.

Yes, I remember that topic coming up fairly often on practice tests and I believe I got a passage on the real thing. If you know where your weakness is, go and fix it. Visualizing what's happening in your head might help. You don't want to go into the MCAT hoping you don't get a particular topic.

yeah...that's a pretty bad strategy. anything you feel weak on, focus on that more until you know it down cold. use any resource you need to including online resources / textbooks etc.

Yeah, agreed/w others. MCAT loves Acid/base crap, especially titrations and whatnot. They also have a tendency to test the same topic over and over, disguised amongst more than 1 passage(this is what happened to me 7/18). Don't give them a chance to screw you over and know this acid base stuff COLD.
