Hello I will be retaking The DAT In April. The last time I took the DAT I got a 17 , however I didn't have a rigorous study schedule. This time I am aiming for at least a 20 and I will be using different study guides and breakdowns from here in the portal.

I haven't taken ochem and gen chem for many years ( I took it in 2010-2011) , so j have forgotten a lot. Will destroyer , Cliffs and crack the dat PAT work ? Should I get chads videos on top of destroyer ?

For tests I have Dat achiever (5 tests) And topscore, plus the free test for achiever and the free test for boot camp.

I am extremely nervous given that I have forgotten many things. However I was always good at chem and ochem.

Any suggestions. ?

Thank you

For chem, just watch chads and take very good notes to go along with his outlines. Pay attention to every small detail and write it down. Then use Destroyer and go through all the chem questions at least once while reviewing the answers. That should get you at least 20+ for those two sections. Crack DAT PAT, Bootcamp and DAT Qvault were all helpful for PAT practice.

I took BIO & GC in 2008 and OC in 2009, then completed the DAT in 2013 (TS 25). I will say, Chad and Destroyer was all I needed. I felt that practice exams aren't necessary (they're just good to get the feel for exam conditions). However if you can master those 2 resources, you'll for sure get a 20+ in the Chem's.

Cliffs will be enough for Bio (especially considering that you have a biology degree).

I used Chad's to get a foundation and a really good understanding of the material , then used destroyer to really test my knowledge and challenge me. I think you can't go wrong with these two resources. I also used Cliffs for bio and it did a decent job at covering the material that was tested

Definigely do what costumx suggested. After you learn the concepts do Destroyer. If you need more practise, get Qvault, Odyssey and CrackDAT. You should be fine if you master those.
