Scheduling interviews early v. later, other crap

Any value in scheduling them ASAP versus scheduling further in advance to cut down on airfare?

Also, this might be a stupid question, but for schools that are located in relatively remote areas with no major airports nearby, how do people usually usually get there? Just bite the bullet and pay more to fly into their commuter airport? Or fly into a major airport nearby and rent a car?

I would guess car rental since renting a car is not that costly.
I would schedule interviews soon. Not necessarily within a week you get the invite, but dont wait 2 months. The earlier you interview, the more times you will be looked at by the AdCom. Plus if you want to late, you might just be interviewing for a waitlist spot!
