example: school sends letter, interviews are scheduled first come first serve, and then no one answers the phone for a few days...

example: school will assign you an interview date, two weeks away from when you're notified. you already have one scheduled that day. next available date is two months away...

it's as if some of the schools don't really care if you're coming from 20 minutes away or 2000 miles away

they should all do it like temple does: online scheduling

/end rant

(but of course i'm happy to be interviewing at all)

hehe, dealing with rosalind franklin sucks too. they gave me a date in mid october that i can't make because of multiple midterms on that day. i called and they basically said they'd put me through their "system" again (whatever the hell that means) and randomly assign me a later date, which will be mailed to me.

they'll probably give me one in late october, in which case i'll just call back in and ask them to do the same damn thing again.....i don't understand why i can't just request a date in mid-november or something, after my other interviews are over with.

Except that Temple accidentally offered dates online that weren't supposed to be available, resulting in lots of rescheduling. 😉
