Scheduling Interviews

How are people handling the overlap of interview dates for many programs? What is the etiquette on canceling? I'm thinking of booking two interviews on the same day and then canceling one of them when I know for sure which program I would rather interview with. I kind of have a preference for which interview I would rather go to, but am nervous about canceling with a program so early. Thanks for your help!

I would say cancel the other interview ASAP so that others waiting for interviews can have your spot. I think it would be worse to cancel later rather than earlier. But make sure that the program does not have any other available days first.
