Hi all,

Im in the process of scheduling interviews but I have received AOA ones so far. I have not yet heard from MD programs. When can I expect to hear back from them and when are those interviews usually scheduled? It seems like all my wednesdays will be taken up.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It varies by specialty and program. There are no hard and fast rules. Interview season generally runs from November through February, with some stopping in January, some starting in October, etc.

It will also depend on the programs you've applied to and their affinity for offering interviews to DOs. Sadly, there are some programs (and not sure if you researched that) where they do not, or DOs are second choice.
