Does anyone know if you go to a post-bacc program that offers a linkage with some med schools, if it's possible that the medical school might offer a scholarship of some type? I can't imagine that they have much of an incentive since by applying you promise to go there...has anyone heard of this?

I'm not sure, but I have heard the opposite. That is, that if you do a linkage program, you may not be eligible for financial aid for the first year of school, since for some consort schools, you don't find out whether you've gotten accepted until much later (past deadlines for institutional financial aid and for military & National Health Service Corps scholarships). That kinda puts those of us who are financially eligible for aid at a disadvantage when doing a linkage.
