Scholarships

I've been searching SDN, my university's financial aid office and the interwebs incessantly for information on scholarships for medical school. I've found military scholarships, scholarships for students applying to college, scholarships for specific opportunities to go abroad and scholarships for those attending particular med school, but none for undergrads applying for med school. Does anyone know of any general scholarships that are not specific to a particular school? Or a resource I could use to find such scholarships? I'm a Hispanic female and a NYS (and New York County) resident.

Sign up for zinch and fastweb two great scholarship resources. If possible make sure to look at local scholarships offered by businesses around your town because there is usually low competition for these.

Fastweb is almost impossible to use to win...imo

Thanks. I am a member of fast web, but I never seem to get any scholarships that have anything to do with me! Hah. I will try the other site you mentioned. Anyone know of anything else?

Schools also give their own schollies.
