Can anyone shed some light on the following for all schools. Not sure the abbrs are correct but:

Resident Placement Rate: (AZPOD), (BUSPM), (CSPM), (DMU), (KSUPM), (NYCPM), (SCPM), (TUSPM), (WUCPM)

Attrition Rate: (AZPOD), (BUSPM), (CSPM), (DMU), (KSUPM), (NYCPM), (SCPM), (TUSPM), (WUCPM)

Integration w/DO,MD Yes or No: (AZPOD), (BUSPM), (CSPM), (DMU), (KSUPM), (NYCPM), (SCPM), (TUSPM), (WUCPM)

Thx. 🙂

integration (yes): azpod, dmu, scpm, and western. they all have different levels of integration.

integration (no): rest of the schools

Resident Placement & Attrition are tough to come by. AZPOD is the only one I can find that has posted their attrition rate (72%). Thanks for the links and the integration info 🙂

Just a point of clarification, 72% was the graduation rate for the Class of 2011 at AZPod. The attrition rate, therefore, was 28%: 6 left for personal reasons, 2 transferred, and 2 were dismissed. Like Redhorse said, these facts can be found on the AZPod website: http://www.midwestern.edu/main-sect.../glendale-programs/az-podiatric-medicine.html

Just as an additional note, as far as I know, the class of 2011 had the highest attrition rate from any of the graduating classes - first graduating class was 2008. My year (Class of 2012) had 1 decide to go to dental school, 1 went a Caribbean MD school, and 2 were put in the 5 year program and are on pace to graduate with the class of 2013. 1 also left for reasons unkown to me, but I assume personal reasons. That would put our attrition rate around 12-15% I think.
