Hi, your application is very similar to my own. If you are a good writer, and can tell a compelling narrative, I think you have a solid chance at most schools. Some schools are reaches for everyone, especially the top 10, so it's important to keep the mid and lower tier schools on your list. From your work at Harvard, I'm guessing you're an MA resident? If not, you'd be better off switching out UMass for something more OOS friendly. Possibly Wake Forest, or Rush -- Rush has a lovely mission that your interests seem to align well with. In fact, I'd consider adding these regardless, as 'safeties.'

You do have a solid chance at the top as well -- with similar experiences and stats, I received interviews from more than half of the top 10 and top 20 schools, with multiple acceptances.

You're golden. Aim high. But of your list, unless you're a resident of those states, delete U Conn, UNC, and maybe U MA. Gtown and Temple are aiming too low. Suggest swapping out for Jefferson. Consider adding Northwestern, Yale, Emory, SUNY SB, and U Miami

Thanks for the feedback--your personal experience is definitely reassuring. I actually went to school in Massachusetts but my permanent residence is still CT, but I'm not really sure how residence works for med schools. I will definitely add Rush and possibly Wake Forest!

Thanks for responding @Goro ! I'll definitely adjust my list. I'm not sure how declaring residence works--I grew up in CT and am still a permanent resident technically but went to college in Massachusetts--UNC is probably a throwaway though. Should I not apply to Georgetown even though I feel in line with their mission?

Because you're a CT resident, have U CT. U MA used to be for IS only, but now has relaxed that, and having gone to school there, you should also include U MA.

Gtown, OK. Be sure to grovel for them...they like that.
