Hello! Just got MCAT results and need helpppp! I want to stay in the NY region bc I am gonna get married soon and it'll be easier for both of us since he's doing his masters here most likely!
Stats:
cGPA: 3.88
sGPA: 3.7
MCAT: 512
Sustainability major, env sci conc, chemistry minor
Clinical:
200 hours children emotional support program in hospital
Shadowing:
160 hours total - ophthalmology and cardiology
Non-clinical:
250 hours organizing diff community service events (blood drives, food drives, soup kitchens) at local religious center (islam tho so lowkey worried racist adcoms will cancel me)
Research:
800+ hours spent working as research assistant at a lab; managed a project that is still ongoing (did all parts like starting the project, collecting data, stats through R) etc
Presentation was given at a symposium where i was listed as an author (but like the last one cus there were like five of us -_-)
Leadership:
Club treasurer/VP for three years
Hobbies:
Karate since I was 10 years old
Photography as well
Awards:
deans list for every semester of college
won the academic excellence award in my major
GAP year plans: do not know at all; hopefully find a clinical job
IMPORTANT NOTES: haven't sent in primary should be sent in today or tom; LORs I'm still struggling with but I'm praying I'm good by Labor Day hopefully (I have one sci prof who agreed but I haven't touched base, doctor Lor, a PI who I think will agree, and a non-science prof I think will agree)
