Clarify: do you want to do research like an MD/PhD track? As you know, cardiology is practically everywhere, and nutrition in medicine is also prolific. Check this list against yours.
An old church is getting a new life. This past winter, North Church closed its doors after 166 years.

I'd apply to Cincinnati; the cardiology team there is solid too.
I don't know why you have Carle listed. Are you an engineering grad?
For Loma Linda, how religious are you?
I don't think you'd fit CUNY. I think their program is a BS/MD track, so you would not be eligible.
Northstate has accreditation issues.
I'd also consider a more regional list, like switching Colorado, Utah, and UNLV for Hofstra, Penn State, and Stony. (Other listmakers may correct me.)
I'm not sure about the Arizona schools' mission fit, but it's worth a look.
I need more info why UFlorida.
I'm sure you are angling for your nutrition non-profit for a narrative. What will you do when you have to give it up so you can succeed as a physician?

Grants are the currency of research careers, so if you are only applying MD, I'm not sure they will carry the weight you want them to. I'm sure it will be impressive, but it will impress more PhD faculty.
I can't really structure a narrative when you haven't actually given us one. 🙂 Again, compare with Florence.

California Northstate has accreditation issues. Carle Illinois is looking for applicants with an engineering background. CUNY only admits applicants through its undergraduate pathway. 45 schools is far too many to apply to. I suggest these schools from your list:

Thank you for your advice! Would you suggest applying to any lower tier schools to increase my chances of an acceptance? I was worried my list may be too top-heavy.
