It is a 498. The 500 was my prediction of what I'd get. Officially its a 498. Sorry for the confusion

I do have a history of my family being economically disadvantaged. For example my family was on Medicaid the vast majority of my life and I live in a single parent household who was unemployed for my entire high school time. Does this count? Lol.

I identify as bisexual as well. Can this really help?

Ehhh kind of. But I think atleast 40% of all applicants, are applying with a background similar to yours. I have a similar story to yours, with similar stats, and got rejected to every DO school I applied to (n=8). But, looking back on it, it was probably my list! I hope someone more experienced gets back to you, so that your outcome’ll be better than mine

I can't recommend applying until you retake and do better than 500.
