Are there certain Med Schools that have better teaching techniques or programs for certain specialties? I am looking for a Med School for Surgery or Emergency Medicine and I was told by a person that UCLA has the best or one of the best Emergency Medicine programs in the US but I would like to know if there is any truth behind this and if so where can I find this information?

Not enough that I would suggest you let it influence your decision. So many factors involved, plus the high likelihood of choosing a different specialty.

I'm pretty sure he meant the EM Residency program. Don't limit yourself to specific schools just because you're interested in their residency programs, you can always do an away rotation during your 4th year.
