Hey guys,
I am currently applying to MPH programs and schools keep asking me what other public health schools I'm applying to. Some only give you spaces for, say, 3, while others ask you to fill in a longer list to accommodate more schools. My question is: why do they do this? Also, would this affect my chances of getting into the school I'm completing my applications for? In other words, say that I tell UCLA that I'm also applying to UC Davis, would this hurt my chances of getting into UCLA? Or is this purely for demographic purposes that have nothing to do with admission?
Thanks in advance for your help!
