Josh, please don't delete this thread. I still find it very helpful. As acceptances/rejections come in, I've been looking back through this thread to find out the interview dates of those who have received decision letters...so I can gauge whether or not to watch out for mine! Because of this thread, I took a trip to my mailbox the other day and picked up an acceptance letter that otherwise I wouldn't have known about for a few days (I've been incredibly busy and hadn't planned to check my mail, I wasn't expecting anything).

So while for some reason its persistance iritates you, others find it helpful in ways that you don't realize.

PS -- If your concern is that people will continue to post, perhaps the solution is to ask Jamie to LOCK this thread, rather than delete it? Then no one could continue to post on it; it wouldn't interfere w/ your new thread, but it could still be read. Would that solution be feasible?

I think in addition to the useful function morninglight pointed out, it's just fun to look at the current list and see how many SDNers have been invited by all the different schools. How about a vote (in a new thread) -- people could register their preference for 1)locking 2) deleting 3) leaving it alone? Give us all something to do besides running to the mailbox and checking our emails a zillion times a day! 😀

But you can find which schools start interviewing by sept 14th (the date people posted)
