What schools dont call/email/snail-mail/NADA about a decision to interview you? I just checked my status page for Pritzker and realized I was rejected but had absolutely no warning. Are there other schools like this? If yes, can people please start a list of them? Thanks!!

Usually this means the "hard copy" will follow by one of those other means soon. Or it got lost in the mail/email.

Oh gooooood point! I just assumed that if a school makes a decision available on a status page, they would automatically send out an email and not via snail mail.

UCLA is one of them. I didn't find out that I got a secondary until about a week after they had made it available to me. As usual, checking on SDN prompted me to check out the status page and there it was. Now I have to keep checking for interviews. I only do that about 8 times a day, though. Sheesh.

😀 ... I feel you! It drives me crazy. Alright, so Ill try to start a list and see where it goes:

Schools that make status available online before sending notification:
Pritzker
UCLA

Yeah, but how much warning do you need?

Well, I would like to know asap what a school's decision is regarding my status as an applicant, so if I can find out a week before I get a letter in the mail I would definitely go for it. But that's just me.

BU too...they just rejected me on my status page without sending any notification!

does Duke really not let you know of the status any other way? Because there is a problem with my status page, and I cannot access it, but I was told not to worry about it. That they email ppl about the status.

i got an interview at duke and i never received an e-mail before that....from what i was told, the problem was fixed.

what does it say exactly? does it say "rejection"? 😕 🙁

ugh adding UC Irvine to that list.

BU
Duke
Pritzker
UCLA
UCincinnati
UCI

They rejected me since the begining of November and didn't have the courtesy to send an email. I just found out sometime lastweek when i logged on to the website.. Shame🙁

My experience from Northwestern was that when I went to log into their status site, a message appeared that said "you are no longer authorized to access this site". Crappy way to find out you're rejected. Several weeks later, I got an email confirming that theory.

aaaah!! Don't get me started about Northwestern. I had to call them 3 times to get them to send me my rejection letter by email, because I got locked out of the status page. They apparently sent me the letter in the mail twice, but I never got it. For such a "great" school, they really need to get it together...

Bastards sent the little envelope like a week later. Happy holidays.

Ya, that was the most rude thing ever. Locking me out from the website...and sending me a snail mail letter 2 weeks later.

Realy this thread would better serve us if it was a simple list of schools that send out interview invites WITHOUT sending an e-mail. Who cares if they don't tell us we're rejected - at least we're not the ones holding things up.

UIC never emailed me. I only got the interview notice by checking the status page. After setting up my date over the phone, I got a snail and email to confirm my interview.
