I feel like I applied a bit later than I should have and have been reading through previous threads. In some, people mentioned that they were told that they were interviewing for waitlist spots. I was wondering, which schools did this? And is it a common occurrence?

I suspect that this might be a common occurrence towards the end of the cycle (say, Mar/Apr and maybe May, if the schools go that far).
