If I am a non science major, would I be able to work in science labs? I am considering a degree in business and perhaps a minor in biochemistry. In that case, would professors be willing to take on non science students in a biochem lab?

Most science labs at my university don't really require you to be a major or have many courses done. Actually most quantitative ones will just require you have biology 1 or experience with microscopy under your belt.

I am an art major and am in a neuroscience research lab. As far as I know, what most PIs and post docs want to see is genuine interest and commitment. :luck:
