FYI, by the end of 2007:
the mean was 218 and the standard deviation 23.
the passing score was raised to 185
more importantly, the magic 3-digit score to achieve 99 was 238 (for some test takers)

and, if the 3-digit scores on the right are supposed to represent equivalent NBME form scores, then the scale at the higher end is much steeper. 640 is equivalant to 247, 670 is equivalent to 252, 720 is equivalent to 258 and 800 is equivalent to 265+.

Your list seems to be outdated, I scored a 227/95, took the test in December 07.

please look at the title again, it says TILL YEAR 2007.

For the 2007 summer testing period, the cutoff for 99 was 236. You can also check this guy.

I know this, because I just missed it at 235/98. 🙁
