Can someone confirm if my thinking is on the right track for this passage?
The purpose of the strip in the solution is to see if redox occurs by looking at the table so that IF the metal on the strip gets oxidized, there will be a precipitate? And if there is no precipitate, the metal on the strip does not get oxidized? The explanation for #53 wasn't sufficient for me.
