When taking practice exams i find myself using a lot of scrap paper. does the testing center give you as much scrap paper as you want or is there a limit? Also, is there a decent amount of desk space for writing or is there just room for a keyboard and mouse? Thanks.

you'll be in a cubicle w/ ample room to write. Also, you will be given a 6 pieces of paper at a time for scrap paper. If you need more u can raise your hand and the proctor will give u another pack.

Can we use the dry erase boards on EVERY SECTION? RC included?

Call the specific testing center and ask them any specific questions about the scrap paper and/or dry erase boards. In stated official prometric theory the rules are stated quite eloquently. In official practice, the application of the rules varies by testing center.

I got sick of all of the scratch paper so I went out and got myself a dry erase board and lots of markers. It was nice because this is what you'll be using on the test so I got very comfortable using the markers. I recommend laminating some grid paper 8 x 11 and using some wet erase markers like EXPO Vis-a-Vis.

So im confused, I thought it was no scrap paper, just the white board. Please someone tell me what is and isnt provided. Thank You

that is because the OP was from 2003, and the majority of the posts is from then before it got bumped.
why someone decided to bump such an old thread, I dunno.

anyhow you get two laminated sheets, dry eraser and 2 markers.

Wait...why wet erase?

Wait...why wet erase?

Because with the grid paper I laminated the wet erase worked the best, meaning it kept the paper looking nicer for a longer time. Also, if I was taking some notes and I needed to go somewhere, the wet erase wouldn't smear in my backpack erasing everything I had just written down. I would get both so that you get use to the dry erase for the test, but for long term studying the wet erase is best. 🙂
