I am at a cross roads and need the opinion of people who may have been there before. I applied for and got a medical scribe gig, however, it is full time, which means I would have to quit my current job to do it. It pays very little though and My current job covers all my bills.
How much will it positively impact my application to have a full time medical scribing job for a few years on my resume? Is it worth quitting my job over or will shadowing work just as well? I obviously work full time and go to school as well so I have limited time to shadow. Is it wise to do the scribing as my full time job instead of sporadic shadowing?
