Where can i get some bootcut scrubs? The school gave us some during the summer and I am not a fan of the tapered leg look. Anything low-rise and bootcut...ala paris hilton???

Well I don't need low rise but bootcut is a must.

I would advise against ordering from AllHeart. Once my order was placed online, it took 5 days to "recieve" it, and I didnt have the scrubs in my hand for another 4 weeks. I was never given a tracking number so I could find out where my order was, despite repeated emails. When my scrubs arived, they were fine but I was more than a little peeved at the delay.

My experiences with them have been completely different. I've ordered online on Monday afternoon (lab coats, embroidered) and received them on Thursday, exactly as ordered. This was normal shipping and everything.

Try a pair of "Fundamentals" scrubs. The legs are very loose near the ankle, no taper what so ever.

I've never had to purchase scrubs before. Are (non-patterned) scrubs a unisex design? Does the color of scrubs matter as a medical student?

If you get your own scrubs, how do you clean them? Especially if you get fluid spatter on them?

I've only used hospital scrubs in the past, and I throw them in the hamper once I'm done. I always assumed they had some super-hot method of cleaning them.

my advice is to wear your scrubs two sizes to large, the bottoms at least...they won't be tapered. i'm a 190 lb male, and wear size XXL, and have been daily for the past 10 years. tight scubs are for weenies, or for hot nurses, God luv em...

Or for hot slider-year pre-meds doing clinical work at the local ER..

Dickies brand has some great modern styled scrubs. Tailored tops for women and great choices for colors. You can find them at places like All About Scrubs or some place like that. I agree on the advice against AllHeart. They have crap return policies in addition to not being very reliable.

Hehe. I like this thread. Personally I've always thought that girls in scrubs look very sexy. The low-rise/bootcut look would only add to that, and I am all for it!

Anybody watch the TV show "Scrubs?" If only all medical residents looked as good in a pair of scrubs as Elliot (Sarah Chalke)! 😍
