SDN meet up?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There was one a decade ago (2008) at ASHP, and it was very disturbing to know just how incestuous the networks were then (not counting the mods at the time, I think we were at most 2 degrees of separation and most were 0 or 1). We were also more careful back then than now to keep our identities relatively generic as Facebook and most social media was not up yet. There were a couple that I would have cared to know as they were quite interesting people (apparently quite a few of you knew SHC, I didn't). There's a couple that I "think" I know professionally but not through here (Spriva, Epic, and njac) although I'm sure if I really tried I could figure it out. WVU and Old Timer are the only two that are still active that I have no real idea beyond some details.

Which is hilarious because everyone knows my first name. And I've posted my full name...and place of employment...and address accidently one time on here.

Take no offense...but I have no interest in meeting any of you people IRL.
What store you work at? I'll come visit you. Or I'll be a secret shopper.

But I’ve met your wife!

I'm sure I'll bump into someone from here eventually!

I work in Dallas but have no interest in a meet up. I like my pseudo anonymity.
Ben's probably the only person I'd make the drive up to meet, just for networking.

I'd absolutely love to have a beer or burger with Owle & Lord999, though.
How could I forget: Chalupabatman too.

I'm really easy to dox if l anyone digs, but I really dgaf

@CetiAlphaFive and @owlegrad I wanna learn how you guys master the art of sarcasm.

Well I don't know about "master" but I was a smart@ss from a young age. So I would say for me personally whatever talent I have for sarcasm comes from a natural predisposition and years and years of practice/honing the craft.

It's worth pointing out that some people are totally immune to sarcasm though. No matter how over the top or obvious it seems to me, some people will take any comment at face value. Sometimes I want to push it and see how far I can take it. So far I have found no upper bound to the level of sarcasm that certain people will miss.

ExpressMaiL, I have to know. Is your avatar from Spawn or Starcraft? I think I have seen it before
