The new spam filter is apparently helping cut down on work for the mods, without making SDN less usable, so that's great! However, it's a little unorthodox...

We should

A) Compile the best/funniest responses from the filter and suggest new ones

and

B) figure out why it gives you rejection statements that don't apply to your post and then passes your post anyway. 😕

EDIT: The filter deemed this the Worst Post EVAR!

I would argue that it is, in fact, less usable. For me it seems like it takes 4-5x longer for the post to go through. A nuisance but if spam really was becoming a problem for the mods then I suppose it's necessary.

Edit: case in point, it took 5 secs for this post to clear the filter. Seems like there ought to be a faster way.

When posting on an MCAT topic last night, it told me, "Oh it's THIS thread again!" or something to that effect
😡
:meanie:

Edit: and to this post... "This post is crap. Try harder next time."

orly 😉

I think comments from that cartoon guy are just meant to be funny. But yeah, they're not that funny.
