I received an email informing me that my financial aid award had been revised. I checked the site and it listed a state university grant. This was a pleasant surprise, because previously they had only offered me loans. I am wondering whether the grant amount they listed is final, so I can plan accordingly.

Yep got that too! =D so pretty much the grant covers tuiton...in other words free tuition! 👍 that's very enticing!

My aid package is pretty good, but I am still waiting to see what the final tuition numbers for Fall 2012 will be.

Yeah, my grant appears to cover most of tuition (about $1,100 left), so that is very enticing indeed.
Is the ~$8,500 figure not final yet, Fernweh?

When did you get your Financial Aid statements? It's been almost two weeks since I sent in my intent to register postcard and I wanted to start planning for the school year as well.

I sent in my intent to register postcard in mid-March and paid my enrollment deposit ~3 weeks ago. My financial aid award adjustment was posted as of 4/20.

^ Thanks. I turned mine mid-April so I guess I have some more waiting to do :/
Hopefully some of the grant money comes my way as well!
