Has anybody got a lower score on repeated part I ?

dunt mind,actually this is a sensitive topic, its very sad if somone gets lower marks on the second attempt,so may not be comfortable talking abt it.
but lemme post one case here, one of my close frens had an 88 in part 1, n on second attempt got only 84, n is now retaking it for the third time......it will be good if people can talk abt it n not make fun of it, coz it might sound funny to some, but it is very bad if it happens to you........

Yeah, it's a quite a sensitive subject. I think most people would not talk about it because it's just not a good thing, doing worse than the last time...how devastating is that??? They don't see a point of talking about it besides retaking it, which makes sense. I don't know anyone who has that happened to him/her. However, if that ever happened to me, I'd be mega pissed off with myself and most likely would not want to talk about it.

This is an extremely sensitive topic and I wonder statistically what percentage of retakers will come out in public forum to proclaim their downfall amidst personal crisis???? It is certainly not 'funny' to rub salt on someone's wound. It can happen to you, me and anyone. Inspite of best preparation on a cbt one can get all the 'wrong' questions. Getting a lower score in second attempt is extremely demoralizing. By posting in upper case you can't expect to bully the hapless few to give in to your demand!

mina_dds I have checked all your posts yet I could not see your Part I score anywhere. You have taken Part I on March 18 and surely received the result by now. Please post it and then try to look for the humiliated faces of those really unfortunate enough to receive lower score on their retake (we all know how hard it is to prepare for NBDE once let alone second time).

Initially I 'made fun of' this thread because I could not believe someone to be so insensitive and honestly didn't take it seriously. And now I think this paparazzi type undertone of OP must be condemned.

On a forgiving note I request you to grasp the arduous and often frustrating nature of the road to an advanced standing program. No amount of preparation, time, money etc can ensure a success. There is no magic formula. Please try to be more understanding if you want to walk with this really helpful community to that common direction.

Now I reiterate....mina_dds your Part I score please!

I completely agree with your post. Asking other people to come forward and talk about a sensitive topic when you are refusing to share the very same information seems to reek of double standards and selfish motives to me. That is the exact reason why no one has bothered to post their scores on this thread.

ya its true, it is really sensitive topic but i had one ques regarding this ,what about the score ,which score we have to send if we are apllying for the school .is it latest one or which had good score . when we asked the score to send from ADA they send all the attempt score or the recent one .can you please help me out in this .

i have a question about retake part I here. if i am not satisfied with anatomy in my part I and would like to retake it, and if luckily i improve it, will the total score of my part I improved also? will the report indicate i tried twice on anatomy rather than once?

I am afraid you have to retake the whole exam unless you failed your anatomy which I don't think you did.

rahmed is right.only if u have a score of less than 75 in any subject u can take the partial retest for the same but u cannot improve score of any subject if u have 75 or more.

Hey...i always though that we can improve our score,and that is what i was plannig to do.coz i can improve my average if i get a better score in micro patho(i have more than 75).

Do people score 95-96 AS AVERAGE.
I would like to know, if u know someone personally who has scored it,coz i remember reading somewhere that a guy had scored 100.....i know it was S**T as its 99 scale score.

first of all I have to thank you for all of your suggestions and information😎
I did'nt mean to bother anybody or ask what they don't like to talk about,
I got 89 in my exam and I thought it is a very boarderline score, I couldn't decide whether to retake it or take part II and just wanted to check the possibility of getting a lower score on the second attempt, maybe I should'nt have asked to post the scores,
anyway I ve decided to retake it and then take part II
again, thanks for your support, and I wish all of you the best 👍
