secondaries before AMCAS verfication?

hey guys, I have a quick question. Do some schools send their secondary application before AMCAS verfication? I have a friend who recieved GW and NYMC secondaries and his AMCAS is not yet verified.

I was under the impression that schools only consider applicants when AMCAS is verfied. Thanks!

I got 2 already!! The thread that is available just tells you which ones are out and also gives the links to them. So even if you haven't received an invite to fill one out you can start working on them now. It's the 2008 secondary prompt thread.
