Thanks for posting this... are these all one essay? (I'm guessing not). What is/are the character counts for them?

Sweet, now I can go ahead and prepare my Georgetown essay. All I have to do is figure out is how to explain to Georgetown that I want to go to Temple..... 😀

Hey everyone- I know we are all very excited about secondaries, but if possible, when people want to know what secondary Q's are for certain schools, feel free to answer them here IF AND ONLY IF you are willing to go over to the "Official 2007 Secondary Questions Thread" that Pemberley is running, and check to see if the information is linked up over there as well. Her thread should have the complete list and with you all helping, it definitely can. Alternatively, you could PM her with the information. 👍

Finally, if you are interested in adding a school to the list, please hit REPLY on the most recent list, delete only the quote tags (at the start and finish of the post in [ ]) and put the name of the school you're adding in the title for us. This way you'll be adding to it without changing the format. If you are unsure how to do this, post the name of the school, when you got the email, etc and we'll add it for you.

hell yeah jackie, you tell 'em.

(false alarm about upstate! blah)

Of the secondaries sent via email, can you further categorize them on the basis of submitted vs verified AMCAS. ie George Washington and University of Chicago send email links after simply submitting the AMCAS.

P.S. I submitted my AMCAS on 7/3/06 and it still hasn't been verified. Isn't a week a long time to wait?

Good work you guys. Keep adding them, with short info about how many essays. Try to keep it on one line and in alpha order if you can. :thumbup

not a long time. there are people who submitted june 20somethign who have still not been verified.

as for submitted/verified 2ndaries, that will be pretty difficult to track.

I'm going to respectfully decline this request. Let's keep the list uncomplicated. The purpose of this thread is to let everyone know what's available (and by extension, what's NOT available yet)...

If you are interested in AMCAS verification times, you can check out the thread "April MCATers submit AMCAS?" There is a list of people who have been verified, and a list of people waiting, grouped by submission date. Please feel free to go to that thread, hit REPLY on the most recent list, remove the two QUOTE tags, and add your name to the list of people who submitted on the 3rd who are still waiting. I know for a fact you are not alone. 🙂

What category would you put this in for University of Wisconsin?

http://docstor.rms.med.wisc.edu/document_11_24498.pdf

It is not the official invite, but it gives you a heads up on what is expected of you in the process.

Check their website.

Hey there,

We have UWisc in the group that acknowledges. Let me know when you get the secondary and we'll bump it to the secondary available list. We must have questions and submission forms to bump it to the questions available or secondary available list. 🙂

THANKS!

i think someone said a few pages back that they were told Penn is sending secondary emails out in small batches...anyway, if that's the case, another small batch went out today cuz i got one. yay for no essays!

I just called Pitts admissions office and they said that they are testing their secondary and sent it out to only 30 people on friday. Everyone will recieve a secondary, but they just want to get any kinks out of it first. So no worries to everyone who didn't recieve it yet. 🙂

Looks like it. Apparently they sent out a test group. The poster denoted that on my lists. I think I'm going to move it to the bottom category, though, because not everyone has it. 😕

Since Pitt only sent out a test group, and their secondary is largely unavailable to everyone else, I have made an executive decision to relegate Pitt to the bottom category. Their test grouping seems like a bit like a screening, but looks like they are just trying to work out the bugs. This is only temporary, I am sure we'll have them on the top list soon.

I received an initial e-mail from U Wash that says "We have received your preliminary application from AMCAS, and in the near future your file will undergo a preliminary review. You will be notified as soon as possible if you are requested to submit supplemental materials. The review itself typically takes a month to six weeks." I'm OOS too and I took that to mean that no one got secondaries yet. *shrug*

i think maybe it takes a while with OOS. for those of us in state (WWAMI included) it seems as if they send them pretty quickly. i didn't even get an email saying they received my primary. i just got the link to the secondary. good luck though :luck: :luck:
