You can just go to their website and get it. No invite necessary - just an amcas ID.

I think you have to verified also in order to access it.

I can't find where to log-in on the cornell site. On their site, it says they email applicants after they receive your amcas and provide directions for access. 😕

*Since Pitt only sent out a test group, and their secondary is largely unavailable to everyone else, I have made an executive decision to relegate Pitt to the bottom category. Their test grouping seems like a bit like a screening, but looks like they are just trying to work out the bugs. This is only temporary, I am sure we'll have them on the top list soon.

From what they told me, they will be sending applications to everyone. They are not screening. It is exactly what you said, them trying to work out the bugs

what's pgh, pittsburgh?

Yes pittsburgh, its general slang for the city. Both of my brothers live or lived there for college so I kind of picked up on that funky stuff. Sorry 🙂

the same goes with Creighton University..
any thoughts?

i am pretty sure that is not important to them. if you are catholic you may consider playing it up as to why you want to go there, but not being xyz religion will not hurt you.

🙁 I feel so left out.

At this point, I can understand why some schools that screen haven't sent out secondaries. But, schools that are going to send them to everyone...come on, and hurry this up already. *NYMC, Drexel, Penn State*

Also, I already know of like 3 kids for the class of '06 who applied for the 2006 cycle and got in... so they're all set.

Does anyone know if the following schools have essays or not, and if so, what they might be?

Drexel
Jefferson
Penn State

Thanks!

penn state has a "why pennstate?" essay. jefferson has a very arbitrary "additional information' section, and i think drexel has no essay.

Is there a character limit for the Penn State essay?

Is there a list of schools that people have applied to and heard nothing from yet?

Yes. The schools that are NOT on the list, we haven't heard from yet.
There is a big enough cross section of people on here that when we hear from a school, it goes up on the board.

Temple doesn't have limits so technically you can write as much as you want. But really just say what you need to say and leave it at that.

I think this is excellent advice. Concise is better. Say what you're going to say and get outta there. 👍 But then again, I am the wife of a lawyer, who is all about writing things as CONCISELY as possible, so take that with a grain of salt.
