man, i still haven't gotten BU (got the technical problems email) and my NYMC secondary still hasn't been processed (submitted 7/20) . . . the northeast schools must really hate me

just adding UC SAN FRAN-----got acknowledgment last monday, today i got the secondary invite...yahoo! 😴

yes, i am quoting myself. don't worry everybody, i discovered the problem. i accidently logged in with the incorrect due date. i typed 7/21/2006 instead of 8/21/2006. hope that doesn't hurt me. i don't think it really matters though because i send the printed out copy in via regular mail with a sheet they give me with the due date. man, i am not very smart though. 😳

I talked to BU this morning, they said it's a problem on their side and will give me a call when it's fixed. Two people had called in before me.

I was feeling unsure if they had sent the email out to everyone. A lot of people are not getting it even though they applied and NU doesn't screen and they are already verified. So I don't want peeps to freak out.
 
I received the Northwestern secondary today. I'm sure other people will start getting theirs soon.
 
It has to be by last name because they want you to put in your last name and AMCAS in the login. What is the first letter of your last name, cdn?

Yeah, this is just an allopathic list (hence the forum title). I bet they could get a list going in pre-osteo (DO) if they wanted. 🙂

Not that I have anything against DO's, quite the contrary, but I haven't done enough research or anything into DO schools to be able to say much of use.

Thanks. I'm at work right now (working hard as you can see) and do not have access to my MSAR. The school did not ring a bell which is why I asked. A simple "No" would have worked too. Thanks again. Sorry for the dumb question I guess.

if you read robizzle's post, he was talking about ECU, East Carolina U. I didn't apply there, I don't have the secondary. I just know its an allopathic school, so I wanted to clarify any confusion. This wasnt even about anyone getting their secondary, sorry to confuse you jackie.

I called Boston and the woman said that the applications are going out within the next few days... It's because of the system update.

Much to my surprise, I checked my e-mail and received 9 applications today. Thank goodness I'm finally verified.
 
The most current list on here shows EVMS under email invites. They are a screener (not currently indicated as such on the list). Has someone really gotten an email from them yet? I am sure this sounds stupid but I noticed that someone posted they received 9 secondaries once they were verified with AMCAS. I have received a few secondaries thus far without being verified but is it true most schools wait for verification before sending out the secondaries? Also does anyone have any idea on how long verification normally takes? Thanks!!!

I got an email invite from EVMS to complete the secondary application (got the email 7/24). And I'm OOS (though I do go to college at William & Mary) for anyone who is wondering.

Hell yeah I do. We don't want to start any hysteria with unconfirmed reports, you know? We're too far in for that. It is almost August! 🙂

I only do it because I got nothin but LOVE 😍 for my fellow applicants, especially the non-trads who DON'T have a dorm full of pre-med college buddies. And especially the trads who CAN'T stand the dorm full of pre-med college "buddies."

Also on the log in page, you need your LAST NAME and your AMCAS ID. So I think they have to load us into the system for our logins to work. :idea:
